BIO

Tara Sylvester has been enjoying being a Photographer for
many years. For the last 6 years Tara has developed
Mountain High Portraits & Photography into a successful
and competitive business. Although Tara's favorite subjects
are her beautiful children. Her experience includes
capturing people places and nature. Tara works locally
in Utah & Hawaii and travels to numerous locations.
Her work has been seen in photographic publications,
catalogs, online and has been proudly displayed in many
homes across the country.
Tara continues to receive recognition for her outstanding
commitment to her community donating services to a number
of wonderful causes. Tara's passion and sprit show though
her art. Her portraits are truly something you can
treasure for a lifetime.

Tara's Style

When choosing a photographer, you need to choose a style
that matches yours. Tara has a unique nontraditional style
to her art. We do not use "mall-style" props. Tara rarely
uses any props and if she does it is used only to
accentuate the personality of the chils. Tara likes to capture
natural expressions in all her photography.
Unlike many photographers that have you come only to the
studio Tara can come to your location as well, sometimes
a child may be more relaxed in there own environment.
Sessions are not timed plan anywhere from
30 minutes to 2 hours.

Clothing

When dressing for a phot session, please avoid, plaids,
busy patterens or any logos. Simple soild clothing works
best, try to keep the focus on the child or family. For
all group photography please try to coordinate. Tara will
be happy to consult you prior to your photography session.
